Appointed to the District 3 Calhoun County Commission seat after the resignation of Kathy-Sue Vette in 2024, Republican and real estate professional Al Morehart has had a chance to do something most commissioners can’t: Take the position for a test drive.
Now, Morehart tells Community Matters he is ready to be elected to the seat and continue representing the district.
