Battle Creek Christmas Parade Update
The 2022 Battle Creek Christmas Parade was postponed in November due to inclement weather. The Harper Creek Optimist Club has announced the parade has been rescheduled for Saturday, December 10, 2022. From the Battle Creek Christmas Parade Facebook page:

We are very pleased to announce that the 2022 Battle Creek Christmas Parade has been rescheduled for Saturday, December 10, 2022. The Parade will coincide with some other downtown Battle Creek events, including the Tinsel Toes 5k and a Live Nativity. The parade will kick-off at approximately 6:15 p.m., or immediately following the 5k event, as the final leg of the 5k uses some of the parade route! For those watching the parade, come a little early and cheer on the runners as you line the parade route!

What to know for those participating, or wishing to participate in the parade:

• Information for those with previous confirmations for participation in the original parade date: Please email Stephanie Cornish, Parade Coordinator by 5pm on Wednesday, November 30, 2022 whether you will or will not be participating. No changes to length of entries will be permitted at this time. There is no need to re-register, just an email confirmation will do.

• For those who may have missed out on registration, and wish to join, you may complete the registration link at: https://app.paradecloud.com/…/9b887e8f94bc7d7a314dad01c… by 5pm on Wednesday, November 30, 2022 to submit your interest. Please note, new registrations are NOT guaranteed, and are based entirely on spacing we have, once we know who is or is not participating still. We will notify you via email by Saturday, December 3rd at 12 noon if you are or are not accepted to the parade.

• All participants (new and original) will be emailed final parade lineup instructions, staging information and entry numbers by the evening of Monday, December 5th. Please note, it is likely that many lineup numbers will change slightly, so please read the revised info carefully!
