Since 1999, Southwest Michigan First has been working as a catalyst for economic development and jobs growth in the region. So, it seemed like a natural fit to bring the business-connect mission of the Kalamazoo Chamber under the SWMF umbrella. Clarence Lloyd joined the Southwest Michigan First Chamber as its first director in 2021.
