(Summit Pointe 71) Board Spotlight: Pastor Monique French On Her Mission to Fight Mental Health Stigma

With a career in social work and a distinct interest in her community, Pastor Dr. Monique French of the Washington Heights United Methodist Church and Community in Battle Creek is focused and determined.

With her fellow neighbors' wellbeing in mind, Pastor French is a community leader. In addition to her role as the leader of her church, she also volunteers on several governing bodies – including the Summit Pointe Board of Directors. She also has served as a Calhoun County Commissioner.

In this episode, Pastor French discusses why she is committed to serving on the Summit Pointe Board – and how the fight against mental health stigma, especially among African Americans, is so important.
